The Tokyo Gekiken Club is a meeting place for martial artists from different backgrounds who seek to study, test, and develop their technique through free, non-competitive exchange in a controlled training environment.
We are not limited to a single style or lineage.

The club’s doors are open to everyone. We are always accepting new members, but it is not necessary to become a member in order to participate.

Anyone may join a practice session as a visitor. Simply contact us by email or send a private message via Instagram.
Through Gekiken as a comprehensive method of physical and technical training, we explore how the principles learned in kata function in dynamic, unscripted interaction.

Our members are researchers, instructors, and dedicated practitioners of classical Japanese martial arts.
While our base is in Japan, our community is international, with members and collaborators from Latin America and Europe.
